Mike Pepper
Executive Director
Mike Pepper is the Executive Director of Bluegrass Senior Assist. He has been in Lexington his entire adult life since graduating from the University of Kentucky in 1982. Mike has been married to Tina Crockett Pepper, a Lexington native, since 1984 and they have two children and two granddaughters in Nashville. Faith, family, and friends are at the core of his life.
After a long career in the pharmaceutical industry, we are excited to bring his experience to BSA and continue making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families. Mike has seen first-hand the difference education can make empowering seniors and their families to make informed decisions so they can retain control. His mother-in-law died from Alzheimer's complications in August 2022. The planning done prior to her death was a great help to the family. Having access to the services provided by BSA is an invaluable resource and Mike looks forward to partnering with advocates for seniors like you.

Dr. John W Richard
Dr. John W Richard is the Medical Director of Freedom Medical & Aesthetics and Bluegrass Extended Care Services. A graduate of The University of Kentucky Medical School and board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Richard has more than 15 years experience helping patients with their healthcare needs. Dr. Richard is fluent in Spanish and passionate about finding unique solutions that offer people ways to feel more confident and comfortable as they strive to reach their life goals.
Mike Conklin
Mike Conklin brings more than twenty years experience to Bluegrass Senior Assist. After having received national recognition in his previous role at Bank of America, he enjoys local involvement and focused approach offered by community banks and is currently serving as Branch Manager at City National Bank in downtown Lexington. His client-focused approach has enabled him to understand many of the needs and challenges of the seniors in our community, and he is passionate about helping preserve and protect the assets of his clients and their families.
